		<description>You&#039;re right, Showa Era covers 1925-1989. I had in mind the postwar part of Showa, the period from 1946, when Almond was established, but more particularly from 1964, the year of the Tokyo Olympics, when the Roppongi branch was opened.</description>

I see from 2 seconds&#039; worth of Google research that Showa Era is also a period in Japanese giant monster movies--is that part of the connotation?</description>
